BRASILEÑA is a smooth, uncomplicated 100% Arabica coffee with notes of nuts, chocolate and caramel. Its popular flavour profile makes it a favourite with anyone who enjoys a mild, balanced coffee that is perfect for everyday drinking.
This naturally processed coffee from Brazil is ideal for preparing an aromatic Café Crème with a fully automatic coffee machine. It also makes an excellent filter coffee thanks to its well-balanced flavour.
For every kilogram of BRASILEÑA sold, CHF 0.20 or EUR 0.20 goes directly to Alem Brasil – a charitable organisation that supports children and young people in the favelas of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro through education, nutrition and sports programmes, helping them build better prospects for the future.
Tropical Mountains BRASILEÑA: Coffee with an Impact for Alem Brasil
The programme focuses on four areas: a breakfast programme for children, football schools and sports centres aimed at preventing drug abuse, crime and prostitution, educational courses in English and IT, as well as food assistance for families in need. The organisation's work is funded through donations and sponsorships and supported by its partner organisation ALENA e.V.
The aim of the Alem Brasil project is to help children and young people from socially disadvantaged families find a way out of poverty and towards a better future.

The Story of Tropical Mountains
Tropical Mountains began in 2012 as a small coffee farm deep in the Peruvian highlands, 12 hours by car from Lima. Peru-born Gisella Iriarte and Swiss entrepreneur Thomas Schwegler shared a vision: coffee grown with care, complete transparency from origin to cup, and a company built on respect and responsibility.
Over time, we have expanded our range to include exceptional gourmet coffees from trusted partners around the world. And while Tropical Mountains continues to grow, we remain true to our roots: building long-term relationships throughout the entire supply chain and dedicating ourselves to producing outstanding coffee – with curiosity, care, and a commitment to sustainability.
Today, we are proud to be a certified B Corporation – part of a global movement that uses business as a force for good. We support local communities, improve education in coffee-growing regions, and fund meaningful, sustainable projects.
