Ground Coffee
On our coffee farm, a 12-hour drive from Lima, we grow certified organic and fair trade coffee - traceable from the bean in the tropical highlands to the fragrant cup of coffee in your home.
To increase the aromatic diversity of our ground roasted coffees, we add gourmet coffees from around the world. At Tropical Mountains, we use green coffees from Peru, Brazil, Ethiopia and Colombia, which we roast slowly and gently in Switzerland. We always rely on our roots: organic cultivation, direct fair trade and sustainable packaging.

Thanks to the lighter roasting in the traditional drum roaster, the green coffee used develops its full flavour diversity. This organic Arabica coffee comes from the family's own farm in Peru or from neighbouring farmers in the region and is roasted by hand in Switzerland. The result is a coffee with aromas of nuts and nougat, accompanied by fruity notes. ANGELITO thus meets the taste of many lovers of lighter roasted coffee and espresso blends. Cappuccino drinkers will appreciate the fine fruit acids in combination with milk. Lovers of Café Crème will also find their coffee happiness with ANGELITO.Tropical Mountains ANGELITO: ground Community CoffeeFor ANGELITO coffee, we only use Arabica raw coffee that we grow on our own farm or that comes from farmers in the region. This so-called Community Coffee ensures that the local coffee farmers we work with have a good and fair living. The history of Tropical MountainsThe development of Tropical Mountains began in 2012 as a small farm 12 hours' drive from Lima, Peru. Great concerts thrive on each instrument playing its unique role. In CONCIERTO, it's the noble Arabica taking the lead, sourced from Peru, Colombia, and Brazil. The second violin is played by Tanzanian Robusta coffee, with its full body and bold aroma complementing CONCIERTO. For discerning connoisseurs, notes of nutmeg and cedar may even resonate. Either way, with Tropical Mountains, you can rest assured that from bean to cup, everything is in harmony. Why are we so sure? Because we only sell organically grown, fair-trade coffee. We'll never strike a different chord.Tropical Mountains CONCIERTO: Community CoffeeFor CONCIERTO coffee, we use raw coffee beans from Peru, Brazil, Colombia, and Tanzania.
