Discover Matcha tea in organic quality as an alternative to coffee!
In Japan, the birthplace of Matcha tea, the traditional drink has been consumed for centuries and in Europe, Matcha is gaining more and more followers.
Matcha tea has a long tradition in Japanese tea ceremonies and is often associated with calmness, meditation, and mindfulness. The ritual of drinking Matcha is therefore a source of relaxation and well-being for many people.
kingnature Matcha Powder: Traditional Pick-Me-Up
In a bowl of Matcha tea, there is approximately as much caffeine as in an espresso. However, the human body tolerates it better because it is bound to the tannins of the tea. In coffee, on the other hand, it is isolated. At the same time, Matcha contains a lot of L-Theanine – an amino acid that has a calming effect and significantly reduces the stimulating effect of caffeine. Matcha is therefore a flavorful alternative for people looking to reduce their coffee consumption.
By the way: Matcha tea is often considered a superfood because it is rich in antioxidants and can potentially offer various health benefits.
Organic Matcha Tea
Only 1% of Japanese tea farmers plant green tea in Matcha quality. Matcha is one of the rarest tea varieties, as only a total of 0.05% of tea grown worldwide falls under Matcha. This explains its extraordinary exclusivity.
The Matcha powder from kingnature is organic certified and produced in Wädenswil ZH.
Preparation
Add 1 teaspoon of Matcha powder to about 60 ml of hot water (max 80˚C), stir vigorously. Matcha can be used in various ways: as tea, as a coffee substitute, in a smoothie, for cooking, or for preparing various desserts.

The Story of Tropical Mountains
Tropical Mountains began in 2012 as a small coffee farm deep in the Peruvian highlands, 12 hours by car from Lima. Peru-born Gisella Iriarte and Swiss entrepreneur Thomas Schwegler shared a vision: coffee grown with care, complete transparency from origin to cup, and a company built on respect and responsibility.
Over time, we have expanded our range to include exceptional gourmet coffees from trusted partners around the world. And while Tropical Mountains continues to grow, we remain true to our roots: building long-term relationships throughout the entire supply chain and dedicating ourselves to producing outstanding coffee – with curiosity, care, and a commitment to sustainability.
Today, we are proud to be a certified B Corporation – part of a global movement that uses business as a force for good. We support local communities, improve education in coffee-growing regions, and fund meaningful, sustainable projects.
Respect Makes Coffee Taste Better
We show respect for people, coffee plants, and the planet. That’s why we offset all CO₂ emissions across our supply chain and continuously work to reduce our ecological footprint. Our family is growing – but our values remain the same.
