The LUNGO tasting set brings you 63 capsules from four coffee-growing countries – ranging from delicately fruity to uncompromisingly bold. And there’s no need to choose between our lungo varieties, because this set simply gives you all three.</p><h3>Three lungo coffees for lovers of a "long" cup of coffee</h3>
<p>First up is the <strong>SUMATRA Espresso/Lungo</strong>, our Orangutan Project coffee: full-bodied, with a spicy chocolate aroma typical of Arabica from the Gayo Highlands. For every kilo of green coffee, €0.50 goes to the Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Programme (SOCP) – good coffee with an impact that can be measured rather than merely claimed. The <strong>SIDAMO Lungo</strong> from Ethiopia takes a completely different approach: floral and fruity, with notes of apricot, jasmine and a hint of black tea – the lightest and most elegant coffee in the set. And when you’re in the mood for something uncompromisingly bold, the <strong>ROBUSTO Espresso/Lungo</strong> takes over: a blend of 40% Arabica (Peru) and 60% Robusta (Tanzania), with nutty, earthy notes and a long, powerful finish.</p><p>The set is around 25% cheaper than buying all three varieties separately, making it well worth trying them all.</p>

The Story of Tropical Mountains
Tropical Mountains began in 2012 as a small coffee farm deep in the Peruvian highlands, 12 hours by car from Lima. Peru-born Gisella Iriarte and Swiss entrepreneur Thomas Schwegler shared a vision: coffee grown with care, complete transparency from origin to cup, and a company built on respect and responsibility.
Over time, we have expanded our range to include exceptional gourmet coffees from trusted partners around the world. And while Tropical Mountains continues to grow, we remain true to our roots: building long-term relationships throughout the entire supply chain and dedicating ourselves to producing outstanding coffee – with curiosity, care, and a commitment to sustainability.
Today, we are proud to be a certified B Corporation – part of a global movement that uses business as a force for good. We support local communities, improve education in coffee-growing regions, and fund meaningful, sustainable projects.
