The history of Tropical Mountains
The development of Tropical Mountains begins in 2012 as a small farm 12 hours drive away from Lima, Peru. Peruvian Gisella Iriarte and Swiss Thomas Schwegler dream of organic and fair trade coffee - traceable from the bean in the tropical highlands to the fragrant cup at home.

And as Tropical Mountains evolves, we rely completely on our roots: organic farming, direct fair trade, and sustainable packaging. We are a member of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO), support local schools and fund charitable projects. Because we believe that respect is what makes coffee taste excellent.
