The handpicked cocoa beans for all three chocolates come from the company's own farms in the Huayabamba Valley in Peru. The ingredients for the bars are enriched by one of the best Swiss chocolatiers and crafted into their final form.

  • Dark 64%: A creamy dark chocolate with flavors of raspberries, cranberries, black tea, and pepper.
  • Dark 71%: An intense dark chocolate with flavors of citrus, blackcurrant, and black tea.

The Story of Tropical Mountains

Tropical Mountains began in 2012 as a small coffee farm deep in the Peruvian highlands, 12 hours by car from Lima. Peru-born Gisella Iriarte and Swiss entrepreneur Thomas Schwegler shared a vision: coffee grown with care, complete transparency from origin to cup, and a company built on respect and responsibility.

Over time, we have expanded our range to include exceptional gourmet coffees from trusted partners around the world. And while Tropical Mountains continues to grow, we remain true to our roots: building long-term relationships throughout the entire supply chain and dedicating ourselves to producing outstanding coffee – with curiosity, care, and a commitment to sustainability.
