For TEASE Cascara Ice Tea, we only use green coffee that we grow on our own farm or that comes from local farmers. By using an actual waste product, the pulp of the coffee cherry, we ensure that the local coffee farmers we work with have an additional income.

The history of Tropical Mountains

The development of Tropical Mountains began in 2012 as a small farm 12 hours' drive from Lima, Peru. Peruvian Gisella Iriarte and Swiss Thomas Schwegler dream of organic and fair trade coffee - traceable from the bean in the tropical highlands to the fragrant cup at home.

And as Tropical Mountains evolves, we rely on our roots: organic, direct fair trade and sustainable packaging. We are a member of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO), support local schools and fund charitable projects. Because we believe that respect is what makes coffee taste excellent. Respect for our employees, for the coffee plant and for nature as a whole. That's why we also offset the CO2 emissions from our value chain. Our family grows - our values remain.
